🧵The Fashion Club Eindhoven started as a fashion course: 10 lessons for young people between the ages of 14 and 27 at the end of 2024. The activity was funded by Cultuur Eindhoven and hosted by Blixems Jeugd-Centrum.

👗 The course, supervised by teachers, was intended to introduce the basics of design and sewing, but also other creative activities through one-off workshops  like jewellery and perfumes.

🔆 The course founder, Cristina Radu, had the idea to continue and expand the activity into a fashion club. Since November 2024 our club welcomes now (37) members of all ages.

🧒The club brings together locals and expats, moms with their kids, teenagers and elderly, boys and girls.

👚We get together every Wednesday from 6.30 pm and work independently on our own project and of course we help each other in the process.

💸 We want to increase the sewing skills of the group and we kindly ask for your financial support. 

🤩 Our goal is to organize 8 workshops between September 2025 and August 2026. Among the 8 workshops, 6 will be sewing related and 2 will be crochet and embroidery. One workshop has the capacity for 12-15 people.

We need 791 euros which should cover the teachers fee, materials, fabrics, repairs and cookies 🍪🍪.
