In a time when sustainability and community are central, a wonderful collaboration has emerged between our Sewing Workshop and our Bazarke, located at Sint Gummarusstraat 21, 2500 Lier.
Together, we not only offer creative opportunities but also a platform for people to contribute to a circular economy. Creativity and Sustainability Hand in Hand 't Bazarke is a swap shop with clothing for adults and youth, as well as a small selection for children. You will also find bed and bath linens, accessories, shoes, toys,...
Everyone is welcome at 't Bazarke, especially those who need to shop on a limited budget. At our Sewing Workshop, the door is always open for those who want to sharpen their sewing skills or simply have fun creating clothing. With a small number of sewing machines available for free, we provide the perfect environment for both beginners and experienced sewers. Here, you can make new clothing, breathe new life into old garments, perform repairs, or create entirely new designs from reused materials.
't Bazarke plays an essential role in this collaboration by selling affordable clothing made in the Sewing Workshop. For just a few euros, visitors can find unique items waiting for a second chance. 't Bazarke not only acts as a treasure trove of materials but also as a place where everyone can purchase household items at bargain prices. This creates a win-win situation for all involved. The Sewing Workshop and the swap shop serve as social meeting places where people can exchange ideas and inspire each other.
With your contribution, we aim to: Invest in new sewing machines, such as an overlock machine, and materials Offer more to people who want to discover or enhance their sewing skills Together, we can make a difference, one stitch and one garment at a time. Join our movement and contribute to a more sustainable, creative, and connected community!
