With Paw it Forward, we’re creating a neighbourhood-based dog-sitting network where local pet owners can swap dog-sitting duties—free of charge! Our mission is passionate and simple: to build a community of trusted dog lovers who look after each other’s pets, ensuring every doggy gets the love and care they deserve while their owners are away.

Why this is important

Pet boarding services can be costly, impersonal, and stressful for dogs. This we perfectly know based on our experience! Many owners, like us, struggle to find reliable, affordable care for our pets when we travel. Paw it Forward creates a solution by creating a network of responsible, passionate and caring dog owners who can help each other out—saving money, building stronger communities, and keeping pets happy in a familiar environment.

How It Works:

First the Pet owners sign up for Paw it Forward and connect with other trusted dog lovers in their area. Then Match & Meet online: The website will help match you with a neighbour based on your dog’s needs, size, and temperament. Thirdly, Swap & Sit: When you need to travel, your neighbour watches your doggy. When they need a sitter, you return the favour! Our platform will be based on Trust & Safety: we will include user reviews, vetting, and community guidelines to ensure a safe and positive experience for all.
